Kazan's Sketch 55

Kazan worked with images and sentiment from Cutting Cafe's Birthday Fun

Welcome to the first official day of Summer here in the United States!  Today is also the longest day of Summer with the sun officially setting at 8:30 in Colorado (which makes putting little girls to bed at a reasonable hour very difficult!).  There are so many reasons to get crafty during the month of June because June is the official month  to celebrate some of these fun (& crazy) events:

June 21: Finally Summer Day, Go Skate Day
June 22: National Chocolate Eclair Day
June 23: National Columnists Day, National Pink Day, Take your Dog to Work Day
June 24: Swim a Lap Day
June 25: Log Cabin Day, National Catfish Day
June 26: Beautician's Day, Forgiveness Day
June 27: Sun Glasses Day

This week we welcome back the super cute digital stamp company The Cutting Cafe who provided our Design Team with wonderful images to create cards based on this weeks sketch:

Fun sketch and awesome eye candy. DT did a great job. I stretched it a bit on my card but still used the sketch as inspiration.

PS...my B-day is National chocolate eclair day (6/22) I just turned 50 :)

a few years ago I told hubby my B-day was national chocolate eclair day...I told him this in MARCH, along with some other weird holidays...he was watching TV, so I figured ok, he acknowledged me, but he probably didn't really hear me...lo and behold on my Birthday that June, he showed up after work with a box...in the box a giant eclair, he had a bakery make it special for me for my birthday cake. He even had them write on it. he is unique that way, and surprising :)
