A Card Celebration

Welcome to World Card Making Day, which is celebrated around the world on the first Saturday of October. Here at 2s4y we are celebrating the creativity of handmade cards and how they bring people and communities from around the world together.

This Celebration promises activities, sketches and prizes so get your card making goodies out and let the party begin!

Today we are teaming up with a fabulous website called Scrapbook News & Review. We have created two special sketches for them which they are using for World Card Making Day. Here is what you have to do:

  • Head on over to Scrapbook News & Review and find the WCMD challenges in their forum (you will have to register but it is quick, easy and instant)
  • Make a card based on either Laura or Kazan's sketch in the "Have yourself a Merry little Christmas Challenge".
  • Post the card in their Gallery to win some of their fabulous prizes
  • Post a link here at 2S4Y showing us the card in their gallery. We will have a special WCMD Gallery to link back to your cards.
  • At 2pm we will give away a RAK to someone from our Gallery and then again at 8pm.
  • Tomorrow (Sunday) together with Card of the Week and the Fab 5! we will announce the grand prize winner.
  • Remember to post any cards for Kazan's sketch 10 in the correct comment section. Only cards made for WCD should be posted in the SNR Gallery and linked here.
  • Your cards can be any theme and you only need to do one sketch (or both) to be eligible to win :)

Prizes:

Grand Prize Winner: One lucky card maker will win a free 1-month subscription to the fabulous E-zine Scrapbook News & Review, a fun goodie package of Sakura Souffle & Gel Pens and a Guest Designer spot here at 2 Sketches 4 You

RAKS: Laura and Kazan are both sponsoring RAKS. One lucky Card Maker that posts a card in the SNR Gallery and comments here with a link is eligible to win a RAK at 2pm and another one again at 8pm
