Card of the Week & Fab 5!

Wow has this been a week of extreme temperatures or what?  We are in that part of the country that had record high temps in the middle of the week and then as the weekend approached we saw rain, hail and other extreme conditions that forced us to reach for our winter woolies.  Granted we do live in Colorado and we are camping in the Rockies so we do have to be prepared for all weather conditions.  Yesterday we drove high up into the mountains to visit an old mining ghost town and it was snowing!

I love taking mini vacations because I always find a ton of inspiration both in nature and my surroundings.  After time away from my crafting I am fully recharged to sit at my desk and create again.  It also does help to have Wi-Fi (hehe - I love camping with city conveniences!) and to see all your wonderful work!  Once again you wowed us and a bunch of fellow non-crafty campers with your amazing talents.

I loved this card the minute I laid eyes on it.  The combination of polka dots, large and small are divine.   I love how the effect is not overly contrasting but rather subtle and deliberate.  The cream label in the center has the perfect amount of embellishment to make it stand out in it's simplicity.  How about those darling buttons as balloons!  To finish this beauty off, Paulina wrapped it up with a delicious chocolate bow!
