Olympic fever is all around us - I hope you are enjoying these games as much as we are. I get emotional when anyone wins a gold - and now for the first time ever I think I finally get Curling :)

As we head into the second half of February we say goodbye to Valentines Day and welcome the arrival of new Cardmaking opportunities: St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Spring, among others, are great reasons to create handmade cards as well as any occasion in between. This week my card celebrates a new home or house remodel :) using the darling little Birdhouse from InStyle Stamps.

Speaking of remodeling; We here in 2S4Y land have done some remodeling of our own. Today we welcome three new Designers to our design team. Laura and I decided to do things a little differently and not have a DT call as we have in the past - between Christmas, New Year and CHA we thought it might just be a little too crazy! I hope everyone had a fabulous, relaxing weekend! Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday, a great day spent with friends and family, eating and watching a little football.

This week is going to be a fun yet sobering one, as we say goodbye to three of our design team members, Ashley, Cheryl, and Sankari. Kazan and I were so lucky to have these very beautiful, and talented ladies on our team, thank you!

Today is the first day of February which also means a celebration of a whole month of Love. Valentines Day is only a few weeks away and we know many of you will be making cards for those special people in your lives. This year will be particularly interesting for me because my Kindergartner has a very clear idea of the Valentine favors she would like to give her class and she would like to make them herself of course; to complicate matters her pre-schooler sister would like to have the same!
