Kazan's Sketch 40

If you are not one of the 34 million people traveling this week we hope you will join us in making cards for your loved ones right from the comfort of your home! Our family will be celebrating Thanksgiving at home this year but we will be with friends on Thursday enjoying all the traditions this holiday has to offer. I am really deciding weather I want to be one of the hundreds lining up outside Target for their big sale on Friday...I think that depends on just how much we enjoy all the offerings on Thursday!

This week our Design Team got into the Holiday spirit with JustRite Stamps. Here for your enjoyment are the 2 Sketches 4 You Design Team's interpretation of the sketch using JustRite Christmas stamps:

Laura used the Purse Gift Card Holder from Creative Cuts & More

I believe this winter might bring a lot of snow! This is Colorado's 6th storm and it is not even Thanksgiving. I don't mind though the snow it just means more time in my craft room, cooking, baking and lots of valuable family time.

Speaking of cooking, I have set off to accomplish another one of my passions by publishing my very own Food Blog! I am extremely excited about this venture. I will be posting new recipes every few days.  I hope you come and share it with me.

Sponsor of the Week

DRS Designs is a small family owned company. They have been in the rubber stamp business since 1955 and have been thru many changes since that time. No change was more significant than the addition of art stamps in 1992. In the ensuing 16 years, They have grown their collection to more than 1000 original stamp designs with more being added each month. They offer online shopping from their website, a monthly club - Rubber Mania Monthly, as well as a retail store in Bethel, CT. If you are in the area, stop by their cozy Victorian shop and say hello!

They offer high quality, wood mounted rubber stamps as well as unmounted rubber depending on your preference. They have a 10 person design team and a blog that is updated daily by each member of the team. Every two weeks on a Monday, they host a blog challenge and invite you to join them! Their online site features a gallery for each designer as well as a customer gallery. They hope you will participate in their challenges and email them your cards so they can include them in their growing galleries. They offer a wide assortment of images, sentiments (serious and humorous) as well as easy background images and technique stamps such as their stained glass and their plaid stamps.

You can find them at www.drsdesigns.com and http://drsdesignsblog.blogspot.com
